Made from rustic terracotta clay, this snowman is finished with a soft white slip and carefully hand-drawn detailing. He wears a glossy black hat with a soft light blue band and a gently striped light blue scarf wrapped closely around his neck. A bright orange carrot nose adds a cheerful contrast, while the hand-painted lines remain intentionally organic and slightly imperfect — a celebration of slow, handmade craftsmanship.
Subtle brush textures are visible across the white surface, and gentle terracotta tones peek through around the edges, giving the piece warmth and character. The dark contour lines are etched into the clay before glazing, allowing the natural clay colour to softly frame the illustration and enhance its folk-inspired feel.

How it’s made
Each ornament is individually shaped by hand from terracotta clay. Once dry, white slip is applied and the snowman is illustrated and etched by hand using soft mint and black tones. The piece is then finished with transparent glaze and kiln fired for strength and durability.
Because every ornament is handmade, no two snowmen will ever be exactly the same.

Care
