Shaped and illustrated entirely by hand in my studio, this small ceramic tree features a soft white slip finish with hand-drawn garland lines and layered green and teal baubles. A bright chartreuse star crowns the top, adding a cheerful glow and contrast to the natural, earthy base.
The illustration is etched into the clay before glazing, allowing the natural terracotta tone to softly frame the design. Subtle brush textures remain visible beneath the transparent glaze, giving the piece depth, warmth, and that gently imperfect handmade character Fabode is known for.

How It’s Made
Each ornament is individually shaped by hand from terracotta clay. Once dry, white slip is applied and the tree is carefully illustrated and etched by hand. The piece is then finished with transparent glaze and kiln fired for strength and durability.
Because every ornament is handmade, no two Christmas trees will ever be exactly the same.

Care
