Handcrafted from terracotta clay, this piece carries the warmth and subtle texture that only slow, handmade processes can create. The interior is finished with a soft ivory-white slip beneath a transparent glaze, forming a gently brushed background that feels organic and full of quiet movement.
At the centre sits a stylised folk flower with soft light-blue petals and a chartreuse centre, accented with delicate hand-drawn linework. The stem and leaves are painted in fresh green tones, creating a cheerful yet balanced composition. The outlines are etched into the clay, allowing the natural terracotta to subtly show through beneath the glaze, adding depth and character to the design.
A dark earthy rim frames the plate beautifully, grounding the lighter interior and enhancing its rustic-contemporary feel.
