A handmade ceramic fridge magnet set — one yellow-and-white daffodil with two natural leaves and two small orange flowers — built from white clay in our workshop in Scotland.
The making: Each magnet is hand-built from white clay, cut and smoothed individually, then kiln-fired at 950°C. The pieces are painted with underglaze and finished with a transparent glaze. A strong ceramic magnet on the back holds each piece onto a fridge or magnetic surface.
How it looks: White-and-yellow daffodil bloom, two green leaves, two small orange flowers. The palette is spring-toned but works year-round; the daffodil is the centrepiece, the leaves and flowers fill out the composition.
Use it for:
- On the fridge — bringing a little spring colour year-round
- On a noticeboard, holding photos or important messages
- Grouped on an A5 magnetic board as a wall composition
