A small purple linen sachet filled with dry lavender hand-picked from our garden in Scotland, with a jute-string heart stitched onto the front and a jute loop for hanging.
The making: Sewn in our garden shed in Scotland from soft purple linen and filled with dried lavender flowers we pick from the garden ourselves and dry slowly indoors. A small heart shape is stitched onto the front in jute string, a longer jute string is sewn at the top for hanging, and a small fabric label with the Fabode logo is sewn into the seam.
How it looks: A soft dusty purple linen pouch — deeper than lilac, paler than aubergine — with the jute heart sitting in a quiet natural beige on the front. The dried lavender inside gives it a slight, organic lumpiness so it doesn’t read mass-produced. Hangs by its jute string from a wardrobe rail, door knob or drawer handle.
Use it for:
- A wardrobe or drawer freshener that’s also pretty enough to leave visible
- A bedside hanger on a door knob or headboard for a quiet sleep scent
- A natural moth deterrent for stored woollens and linens
- A small thank-you gift or stocking-filler
- A car or bag freshener — tuck inside a tote or hang from a rear-view mirror
A considered gift for the friend who keeps everything quietly fragrant — housewarmings, Mother’s Day, birthdays, or simply because.
Care: Spot clean only — don’t submerge or wash in water. Squeeze gently every few weeks to refresh the scent; lasts six to twelve months before the lavender needs replacing.
