Pine Keepsake Box with Ceramic Hearts

A handmade small pine keepsake box with a hinged, locking lid, decorated with two unglazed ceramic hearts — hand-crafted by our maker in Scotland.

The making: Built from reclaimed pallet pine, assembled into a small square-section box with two small metal hinges and a small mechanical clasp so the lid actually closes and latches. Two ceramic hearts are fitted to the lid as the only decoration. The piece is deliberately rustic — small surface marks and tool lines from the original timber are left visible.

How it looks: A compact pine box in warm honey-brown wood, with two small unglazed ceramic hearts set into the lid. The grain of the reclaimed pine runs across each face, and the hinges and clasp are visible metal hardware.
