Bring a little everyday joy to your morning coffee or evening tea with this charming pair of handmade strawberry tumblers. Each cup has been individually hand built from terracotta clay using the traditional slab-building technique, resulting in beautifully organic shapes full of character and craftsmanship.
The exterior is coated with a soft white slip before the strawberry designs are scratched into the surface using the sgraffito technique. The strawberries are then hand painted, creating a playful folk-art inspired finish that celebrates handmade pottery and the simple pleasures of summer.
The interiors are finished with a glossy white glaze, while the exterior is protected with a transparent glaze that allows the warm terracotta character and hand-worked texture to remain visible. Each tumbler carries the Fabode Ceramics maker's mark on the base.
Perfect for coffee, tea, herbal infusions, juice, or simply as a decorative addition to a cottage-inspired kitchen.

Handmade Process
Each tumbler begins as a flat slab of terracotta clay which is carefully shaped by hand. After drying to the perfect consistency, a layer of white slip is applied and the strawberry motifs are scratched into the surface by hand using the traditional sgraffito technique. The designs are then painted before the pieces are bisque fired. Finally, a glossy white glaze is applied to the interior and a transparent glaze to the exterior before the final firing.
No moulds are used, making every piece truly unique.
