This one-of-a-kind small ceramic plate brings together rustic charm and simple folk artistry in a calm, timeless design.
Handcrafted from terracotta clay, this piece tells its own quiet story through slow making and subtle texture. The interior is finished with a soft ivory-white slip beneath a transparent glaze, creating a gently brushed background that feels organic and alive.
At the centre sits a stylised Scandinavian-inspired tulip flower in soft light blue, grounded by deep forest green leaves and stem. The design is carefully scratched and painted by hand using the traditional sgraffito technique, giving the lines a slightly textured, storybook character. A dark earthy rim frames the piece beautifully, adding depth and contrast.
The underside is fully glazed in a soft blue-green tone with the Fabode maker’s stamp — an honest signature of handmade craftsmanship.
