Blue & Orange Flower Ceramic Magnet Set

A set of six small ceramic flower magnets in dark blue, light blue and warm orange, handmade in our Scottish studio.

The making: Each flower is hand-shaped from white clay, painted with underglaze in two coats, then bisque-fired. A transparent glaze is brushed on and the pieces are kiln-fired a second time to seal the colour. A small magnet is glued to the back of each one.

How it looks: Six little flowers — two deep cobalt, two pale sky blue, two warm tangerine orange — with a glossy clear glaze over a chalk-white clay body. The petals are softly modelled so the shapes feel hand-pressed rather than identical.

Use it for:

• Holding shopping lists and reminders on a kitchen fridge
• A cheerful magnetic display on a studio notice board
• Pinning postcards or photographs to a metal filing cabinet
• A small spring gift for a friend or sister
• Combining with other Fabode magnets to build a hand-glazed mosaic
