This cube-shaped tissue holder is handbuilt using slab construction, giving it a solid, grounded presence with softly organic edges that celebrate the handmade process. The exterior is finished with a brushed ivory slip, creating a gently weathered surface that enhances the warmth of the clay beneath.
Each side features my hand-painted Fabode logo — a stylised tulip in vibrant chartreuse, framed by dark teal leaves. The contour lines are carefully etched directly into the clay before glazing, so the fine dark outlines you see are the natural terracotta revealed beneath a transparent glaze. This technique gives the design depth, texture and a subtle earthy character that cannot be replicated by surface painting alone.
Around the top opening, a delicate botanical wreath detail adds balance and softness from every angle.
The interior is fully glazed with transparent glaze for durability and easy cleaning, which gives the terracotta clay a rich, dark earthy tone, and the piece is signed “fabode” by hand — a quiet signature of authentic craftsmanship.

To use:
• Remove the tissues from their original cardboard packaging
• Place only the loose tissue stack inside the ceramic holder
Standard boxed tissues will not fit inside the holder with the cardboard box.
