A handmade lace-textured ceramic mug with handle, glazed in stone-green outside and crisp white inside, made in our Scottish studio. 0.3 litre capacity.
The making: Hand-built from smooth grey clay. Real lace is rolled into the clay surface before firing, pressing a delicate floral pattern into the wall of the mug. A green glaze is brushed onto the outside and a clean white glaze on the inside, then the mug is kiln-fired. Each piece carries the maker’s stamp at the base.
How it looks: A muted stone-green outer that catches the light like river pebbles, with the floral lace texture visible in raised and recessed lines around the body. The inside is bright white — a calm contrast that makes the green look richer when you tilt the mug to drink.
Use it for:
- A 300ml coffee or tea — a generous everyday size
- An after-work hot chocolate on a quiet evening
- A handmade alternative to mass-produced “stone” mugs
- A first-flat housewarming gift
- Paired with our white-lace espresso set on an open kitchen shelf
A considered gift for a tea or coffee drinker who appreciates a tactile cup over a glossy supermarket one — birthdays, housewarmings, or simply because.
Care: Hand wash recommended — avoid soaking or dishwasher.
