A set of five handmade ceramic fridge magnets in autumn tones — a singing bird in brown and orange, a delicate white flower, two love hearts in orange and dark brown, and an orange leaf, made by hand in our Scottish studio.
The making: Each piece is built individually from white earthenware clay — rolled, cut, and smoothed by hand. The shapes are dried, kiln fired, then hand-painted in underglaze and sealed with a clear transparent glaze. A magnet is fixed to the back once cool. Because every piece is painted by hand, the brush marks and colours vary slightly from set to set.
How it looks: A warm earthy palette — the bird washes between burnt brown and ochre orange, the leaf catches a brighter pumpkin tone, and the hearts sit darker in deep brown with orange edges. All glossy under the clear transparent glaze.
