Ceramic Bird & Flowers Magnet Set

A handmade ceramic fridge magnet set — one small bird in orange and blue with white-and-orange flowers around it — built from white clay in our workshop in Scotland.

The making: Each piece is hand-built from white clay, cut and smoothed individually, then kiln-fired at 950°C. The bird and flowers are painted with underglaze and finished with a transparent glaze. Strong ceramic magnets on the back hold each piece onto a fridge or any magnetic surface.

How it looks: The bird is the focal piece — orange body, blue wing detail, soft round form. The flowers are smaller — one large white bloom with an orange centre, and small white-and-orange flowers around it. Each one slightly different from the next.

Use it for:

• On the fridge — a small painterly composition
• Grouped on an A5 magnetic board as wall art
• On a notice board with messages or photos
