A set of six small handmade ceramic fridge magnets in the shape of purple flowers — made from white clay in our Scottish workshop.
The making: Each flower is hand-cut from white stoneware clay, shaped and smoothed by hand, then bisque-fired. A soft purple underglaze is brushed across the petals, finished with a clear glaze, and fired again. A strong ceramic magnet is fixed to the back of each piece so they hold securely on any magnetic surface.
How it looks: Six small flower-shaped magnets in soft lavender-purple with the white clay showing softly where the glaze thins at the petal edges. Each one is a simple stylised flower silhouette rather than a botanical illustration — cottagecore rather than scientific.
Use it for:
- On a fridge holding a shopping list, postcards or a child’s drawing
- Clustered on an A5 magnetic board as a small wall composition
- On a metal noticeboard above a desk
- Stuck to the side of a metal filing cabinet to soften it
- Gifted to a flower lover, a teacher, or for a small Mother’s Day extra
A small considered gift for someone whose fridge collects life rather than stays bare — Mother’s Day, housewarmings, or simply because.
Pair with our A5 black magnetic display board (sold separately) to display the set as wall art.
Care: Wipe gently with a damp cloth; do not soak.
Size:
- Each flower: small magnet, approximately 3–4 cm across
- Set of 6 in coordinated purple
- Handmade — small variations are part of the character
