Handmade ceramic serving spoons in brown clay with a choice of blue glaze — small enough for honey, jam or condiments, with a hanging hole at the handle so they double as wall pieces when they’re not in the jar.
The making: Hand-shaped in our garden shed in Scotland by Fabode’s maker partner from brown clay. Each spoon is shaped individually — no mould — so the bowl and handle vary just enough to read as handmade. A hanging hole is pierced through the top of the handle, both surfaces are glazed for daily use, and the spoons are kiln-fired.
How it looks: Three glaze options over the warm brown clay base. Lighter Blue breaks transparent in places, letting the clay peek through for a rustic, organic look. Transparent Turquoise sits dense in the bowl and gracefully breaks transparent at the edges, highlighting the clay’s warmth. Deep Maritime Blue stays a solid rich dark blue against the brown — the most contrast. Hanging holes at the handle for wall display.
