This one-of-a-kind large ceramic vase is entirely handmade from white stoneware clay, created slowly and thoughtfully in my studio. Designed as a sculptural yet functional statement piece, it brings a calm, organic presence to both modern and rustic interiors.
The vase was formed by stretching the clay and cutting an “8” shape as the base, then carefully building up the walls using hand-rolled clay coils. This process gives the surface its distinctive layered texture and soft, flowing lines. Although the form appears as a double vase, the interior is one continuous space, offering a large capacity and flexibility for floral arrangements.
In the photographs, the vase holds four small bunches of daffodils with eucalyptus branches, with plenty of room still inside — perfect for generous bouquets, branches, or statement arrangements.
It is finished with an off-white glaze that gently breaks into warm beige tones where applied thinner, enhancing the natural texture and depth of the surface. The piece was fired to 1240°C, making it durable and suitable for everyday use with fresh flowers.
This is a true one-of-a-kind ceramic vase. No moulds are used, and no two pieces can ever be the same. There is no other vase like this made by me.
