A set of five handmade ceramic fridge magnets in autumn tones — a black-and-white singing bird, an orange-and-black flower, two orange love hearts, and a black leaf, made by hand in our Scottish studio.
The making: Each piece is built individually from white earthenware clay — rolled, cut, and smoothed by hand. The shapes are dried, kiln fired, then hand-painted in underglaze and sealed with a clear transparent glaze. A magnet is fixed to the back once cool. Because every piece is painted by hand, the brush marks and colours vary slightly from set to set.
How it looks: A graphic black-and-orange palette — the bird in matte black and white, the flower and hearts carrying warm pumpkin orange against deep black detailing, all glossy under the clear glaze. A clean, slightly Halloween-leaning take on autumn.
