A set of six handmade ceramic heart magnets in soft pastel colours — two baby blue, two pastel yellow, two pastel green — made by hand in our Scottish studio.
The making: Each heart is hand-cut from grey clay, painted with underglaze, then bisque-fired to set the colour. A clear transparent glaze is brushed over the top and the pieces are fired a second time for a glossy, hard-wearing finish. A thin neodymium magnet is glued to the back of each one.
How it looks: Six little hearts in chalky pastels — milky baby blue, soft buttercup yellow, sage-tinged green — with a glossy clear glaze that catches the light. The shapes are hand-cut so no two are quite the same outline.
Use it for:
- Holding postcards and notes on a kitchen fridge
- Clipping kids’ drawings to a magnetic notice board
- A small Valentine’s or first-anniversary gift
- Pinning recipe cards above the hob
- Filling a Mother’s Day card with something small and handmade
