A handmade ceramic fridge magnet set — one large orange bloom, four small white-and-peach flowers and two green leaves — built from white clay in our workshop in Scotland.
The making: Each magnet is hand-built from white clay, cut individually, then kiln-fired at 950°C. The pieces are painted with underglaze and finished with a transparent glaze. Strong ceramic magnets on the back hold them in place on a fridge or any magnetic surface.
How it looks: A large orange flower as the focal piece, with four small peach-and-white blooms and two green leaves around it. The orange is warm rather than bright — closer to terracotta than tangerine — and the smaller flowers vary slightly in shade and shape.
Use it for:
- On the fridge — warm-tone autumn arrangement
- Grouped on an A5 magnetic board as wall art
- On a noticeboard, holding important messages or photos
- Gifted to a gardener, nature lover, or someone moving into a new home
- In a kitchen as a small painterly composition
A handmade gift for someone who collects small considered objects — housewarmings, birthdays, or simply because.
Pair with an A5 magnetic board (sold separately) to display the pieces as wall art rather than on the fridge — they read as a composition either way.
Sizes:
- Large orange flower: 6 cm
- Leaves: 6–7 cm
- Small flowers: 1.5–2.5 cm
One-of-a-kind — this exact piece won’t be remade.
