An oversized handmade ceramic mug that holds a full 800 ml — enough for a proper coffee, an unhurried tea, or a wide bowl of hot chocolate without refilling.
The making: Each mug is slab-built by hand from stoneware clay in our Scottish studio, so no two are exactly alike. Small variations in thickness and shape are part of the character.
How it looks: Finished in a delicate sun-yellow glaze inside; outside, a playful split of matte sun yellow and gleaming copper, with funky black stripes on the handle. The front carries a bold “R” on the front, decorated with black polka dots — a small personal touch that makes the mug feel like yours.
Use it for:
- A really generous morning coffee or tea
- Slow weekend hot chocolate by the window
- Soup, porridge or noodles when you want a mug, not a bowl
