A handmade ceramic leaf dish — real leaf pressed into grey clay, then glazed in teal that breaks to green, made in our Scottish studio.
The making: Each dish starts with a real leaf pressed into a slab of grey clay to capture the vein pattern and outline. The clay is cut and shaped around the impression, dried, bisque fired, hand-glazed and fired again at 1240°C. Because every leaf is different and every glaze pour falls a little differently, no two dishes are the same.
How it looks: A deep teal that shifts to a brighter green where the glaze thins over the leaf veins. The surface is glossy, with the colour pooling darker around the rim and lifting along the raised ribs of the leaf.

- A spoon rest beside the hob while you cook
