A handmade oak tealight candle holder for three tealights, hand-crafted by our maker in Scotland.
The making: Cut from hard oak and shaped into a slim rectangular bar with three round wells drilled to hold standard tealights. The oak is left in its natural state — no stain, no wax, no varnish — so the wood is free to age and darken on its own over time. Because the wood grain runs differently through every cut, the colour and figuring of each piece is slightly different.
How it looks: A long, low oak bar with three tealight wells in a row. The wood is the honey-to-pale-brown of natural oak, with visible grain and the occasional knot — left untreated, so the surface is matte and warm to the touch rather than shiny.
