A handmade reclaimed-wood tealight holder for five tealights, hand-crafted by our maker in Scotland.
The making: Cut from reclaimed timber into a long slim bar with five round wells drilled in a line for standard tealights. Finished with antique pine wax, which deepens the wood’s natural tone and keeps it as an indoor piece. Because the wood is reclaimed, the grain pattern, small knots and exact colour vary from piece to piece.
How it looks: A 50 cm-long wooden bar with five tealight wells running along its length — long enough to act as the central line on a small dining table or down a windowsill. The waxed wood reads as a warm mid-brown with the grain visible under the finish.
Use it for:
- Running the centre line of a dinner table for a small supper
- Lining a long windowsill in winter
- Along a mantelpiece for steady, low evening light
- An Advent or Halloween table without overtly seasonal decoration
- Given as a housewarming gift for someone who entertains
A considered gift for the friend who hosts — housewarmings, Christmas, dinner parties, or simply because.
Care: Wipe with a dry or barely damp cloth; indoor use only because of the wax finish. Tealights not included.
Size:
- 50 cm long x 9 cm wide x 4 cm tall
- Holds 5 standard tealights
- Handmade from reclaimed timber — grain and tone vary between pieces
