A handmade oak tealight candle holder for three tealights, hand-crafted by our maker in Scotland.
The making: Cut from hard oak salvaged from reclaimed timber and shaped into a bar with three round wells for standard tealights. The oak is left fully natural — no stain, no wax, no varnish — so the wood is free to age and darken on its own over time. Every cut shows different grain and figuring, and the surface stays matt and warm rather than shiny.
How it looks: A solid oak bar with three tealight wells in a row. Pale honey-brown oak with the grain and the occasional knot visible across the surface — a very natural, unfinished look.
Use it for:
- A dinner-table centrepiece without overpowering the table
- A mantelpiece or hallway console for low evening light
- On a bathroom shelf for a slow evening bath
- Halloween or Christmas table without overtly themed decoration
- A housewarming gift for someone setting up a first home
A considered gift for the friend who prefers honest materials — housewarmings, Christmas, or simply because.
Care: Wipe with a dry or barely damp cloth. Untreated oak; avoid soaking unless you want to change the finish. Tealights not included.
Size:
- Holds 3 standard tealights
- Dimensions available on request
- Handmade from reclaimed oak — grain and tone vary between pieces
