A set of four medium ceramic heart magnets in soft pastel green, each printed with a small floral motif, handmade in our Scottish studio.
The making: Each heart is cut from grey clay, hand-painted with underglaze in pastel green, and stamped with a small flower print before a clear transparent glaze is applied. The pieces are kiln-fired twice — once to set the underglaze, then again to seal the glaze — and a strong, slim magnet is glued to the back.
How it looks: A muted pastel green with the flower pattern showing through in a slightly deeper tone, like pressed petals. The glaze has a soft satin sheen rather than a high gloss, and the edges are gently rounded from being hand-cut.
