Firebrick Red Heart Magnets — Set of 4

A set of four medium ceramic heart magnets in a glossy firebrick deep red, handmade in our Scottish studio.

The making: Each heart is rolled out from grey clay, hand-cut, and bisque-fired. A glossy deep-red glaze is then applied and the pieces are kiln-fired again so the colour develops into a rich firebrick tone with a high-shine finish. A strong slim magnet is glued to the back of each.

How it looks: A deep, brick-red glossy glaze that catches the light like a polished cherry. The grey-clay body shows at the very edge where the glaze pulls back, giving a subtle dark outline around each heart.
