Mushrooms & Autumn Leaves Magnet Set

A handmade ceramic fridge magnet set — two small mushrooms, two oak leaves and two purple leaves — built from white clay in our workshop in Scotland.

The making: Each magnet is hand-built from white clay, cut and shaped by hand, then kiln-fired at 950°C. The pieces are painted with underglaze (firebrick red, matt brown, oak-leaf greens, purple) and finished with a transparent glaze. Strong ceramic magnets on the back hold them onto a fridge or magnetic surface.

How it looks: One mushroom in firebrick red with white spots, the other in soft matt brown. Two oak leaves in autumn ochres. Two smaller purple leaves to balance the palette. Together the set evokes woodland-floor autumn.

Use it for:

• On the fridge from September onwards
• Grouped on an A5 magnetic board as a small autumn scene
• On a kitchen noticeboard or pinboard
• Gifted to a forager, gardener, or autumn-leaf enthusiast
• In a children’s room as a quiet set of nature pieces
