A handmade small pine gift box with a hinged lid, decorated with a ceramic heart — sized to present one of the 0.5 litre mugs from our shop, hand-crafted by our maker in Scotland.
The making: Built from reclaimed pallet pine with two small metal hinges so the lid opens cleanly. A single ceramic heart is fitted to the front face as decoration. Slight imperfections and tool marks from the original timber are left visible rather than sanded out, which is part of why each box looks different.
How it looks: A small honey-brown pine box with a hinged lid and a ceramic heart on the front. The grain of the reclaimed pine runs visibly across the faces.
