The aesthetic
The kitchen at its best is the slow one
Coffee made properly. A breakfast that takes ten minutes longer than usual. A pair of mugs that match each other but don’t match exactly. The cosy kitchen aesthetic is about pieces you actually use — mugs heavy enough to be reassuring, plates wide enough to hold a real meal, salt and pepper shakers that go on the table and stay there.

The kitchen edit
Mugs, mega mugs, plates, tumblers. Hand-built for use.
The morning coffee moment
A heavy ceramic mug, hand-built rather than thrown on a wheel. The giant mega mugs hold a litre — two of them and you’ve hit your daily water target. Or a smaller polka-dot tumbler for proper espresso.
The weekend breakfast table
Plates that frame the food, not compete with it. Our folk-art sunflower plate sits comfortably alongside our hand-built tumblers in a mismatched-but-harmonious set.
The evening cup of something
A mug of herbal tea, a candle on the kitchen table, a small ceramic dish of nuts. The cosy kitchen extends past breakfast — it’s any moment you’re glad to be in the room.
