Ours genuinely are: each piece on this page is shaped by hand, glaze-fired one at a time, with a tonal palette and shape that depends on how the kiln runs that day. When the one in stock is sold, we may make something similar — but it won’t be identical, and we won’t try to make it identical. That’s the point.

The risk with one-of-a-kind is that the piece you almost bought, you regret a week later. Most of our handmade ceramics show “1 in stock” for a reason — once they’re gone, we don’t restock.

One-of-a-kind pieces are the ones that survive moves, downsizes and clear-outs. They’re the pieces you point out to guests. They’re the ones that become the small heirlooms.
The piece that justifies the price
At £35 or £125, one-of-a-kind handmade pieces are sometimes hard to justify against mass-market alternatives. The justification is simple: nobody else has this exact piece. It exists once.
